Grandma B’s Ride

This African cargo beast carries more than passengers and smiles; it carries cherished memories. Most importantly, it holds the legacy of the woman who inspired its creation, Grandma B. 

Grandma B’s Ride holds abundant color, joy and a fringed blanket draped over its back. Painted on the blanket is a heartwarming scene of a woman riding a camel in Egypt, a tribute to the mother of Elizabeth Work, the camel's sponsor. Though the original photo of her mother was lost, the design was recreated from the Work family's treasured memories.

As a "stander," Grandma B’s Ride does not move up and down as the Carousel turns, making it a beloved choice for little ones.
