Thunder

Thunder, the second lead horse, proudly commands one side of the Carousel, directly across from Marcie and just behind the sea-serpent chariot. Thunder is one of six exquisite white horse replicas from the original Silver Beach Carousel, circa 1910, created by master carver Charles Carmel.

This majestic figure has been meticulously crafted and adorned with ocean blues, gold details and bejeweled armor, replicating the elegance of the past. The original jeweler, M.D. Borelli, placed jewels randomly on the sculptures, and Thunder has been replicated right down to the last gem. Thunder stands as a testament to the power and perseverance that lead horses embody.
